Accessibility & Entry Information
We are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all clients at Aura Recovery Studio.
This page outlines how we support accessibility within our space, as well as any considerations for entry and use of our facilities.
At Aura Recovery Studio, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all clients.
Due to the nature of our space and existing building constraints, some areas of the studio have reduced circulation space and may not be fully accessible for independent use.
Accessibility Support
Our team is available to assist individuals who may require support when accessing or using the studio.
Where reasonably practicable, we will:
-
Provide assistance on arrival and orientation within the space
-
Offer clear guidance on the use of all services and equipment
-
Support safe participation in recovery sessions where required
Clients are encouraged to notify us of any assistance requirements prior to their visit so we can provide appropriate support.
Nature of Services
Aura Recovery Studio provides wellness and recovery services including contrast therapy, sauna use, and guided sessions.
Some services involve:
-
Changes in temperature (hot and cold environments)
-
Wet areas and variable surfaces
-
Movement between different zones within the studio
As such, a level of independence and awareness is required to safely participate.
Supervision & Safety
Our team is present to provide guidance and general supervision; however, services are not delivered as one-on-one assisted therapy unless otherwise arranged.
Clients who require ongoing or high-level physical assistance may need to attend with a support person.
Some services - including contrast therapy areas, saunas, recovery spaces, and pools - may require staff guidance or assistance to access safely.
Entry Considerations
For safety reasons, entry may be limited where:
-
A person is unable to safely use the facilities, even with reasonable assistance
-
The level of support required exceeds what staff can safely provide
These decisions are made with the wellbeing of all clients in mind.
Health Considerations
Our services involve exposure to heat, cold, and guided recovery practices that may not be suitable for everyone.
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a medical condition, or are unsure whether our services are right for you, we recommend speaking with your healthcare provider and reaching out to our team prior to booking.
We’re always happy to guide you toward the safest and most appropriate experience.
Our Commitment
We are committed to:
-
Providing a welcoming, non-judgemental environment
-
Supporting clients to the best of our ability
-
Continuously improving how we deliver accessible experiences
If you have any questions or specific requirements, please contact us prior to your visit.
